headstrong :: Stubborn to a fault, Catra is the kind of person that once she's put her mind to something it can be near impossible to sway her from it. This quality can be an asset in some instances, and a deterrent in others. In battle, this sort of tenacity guides her to push every advantage to her own benefit. It makes her cunning, resourceful, and even downright ruthless to obtain her goals. In life, this can be a benefit when put to the right task. However, when Catra's mind is steered the wrong direction it can be near impossible to sway her from a certain kind of thinking. This can lead to self-destructive tendencies either fueled by or contributing to more of her negative qualities. While Catra can be difficult to sway, almost impossible, it's not entirely so. It's just a very difficult task.

insecure:: Another guiding trait in Catra's life, many of her life decisions stem from her insecurities. Due to being constantly put down in her life, even outright told that the only reason she's kept around is for the sake of another, Catra struggles with wanting to be valued and finding value in herself all at once. Catra constantly works to prove the value in herself for who she is, while at the same time harboring a deep self-loathing of herself that can at times cause her to be reckless with her own safety. Trying to combat this mentality in herself and others leads to how stubborn Catra can be. However, when what she does doesn't seem to work with others it can cause Catra to double down on bad behaviors.

vulnerable :: Due to her insecurities, Catra often feels exposed and vulnerable. When Catra feels this way, it can cause her to lash out in the worst ways. Physically and verbally, Catra tends to fight hardest when backed into a corner emotionally. Physically she may slash at someone she feels is seeing too much of her, or verbally if she feels she can't physically. This kind of exposure tends to leave Catra too raw for comfort, and it forces her to push people away to hide this weakness in herself.

cheeky :: When Catra is in a more natural state of herself, Catra can be very witty and cunning. Even downright suave if she chooses to be. She has a biting tongue and a sharp laugh. Her kind of humor can be a bit harsher than others, but there's something genuine to it that's almost catching. Her wit tends to be something you can join in on, at least if it's not directed at you. It's also a dangerous weapon for manipulation when she needs it to be. She can be sharp in a way that pushes at all the wrong buttons in a person. She knows it, too. When more natural, this quality in Catra can make her almost enjoyable to chat with. Even funny. When used as a weapon, it can be annoying if not outright cruel.

volatile :: When things reach their breaking point for Catra, she can become completely unstable and downright volatile. Everything tends to go out the window with Catra when this happens, and she lashes out indiscriminately. She's attacked and banished a friend when in this mood, and hurt another friend. She's even tried to destroy and entire world in this mentality. When the worst of Catra's qualities all come to a head, she can be unpredictable and the worst kind of dangerous to be around. No one is safe when she gets like this, including Catra from her own self.

loyal :: Misplaced loyalty has been Catra's downfall in the past. When things are good, Catra can be the most loyal friend one can have. When she gets volatile, this loyalty can be an open wound for her. When all her good qualities come together, Catra can be a dedicated friend. Her resourcefulness and careful thinking can make her good to be around, and her wit and sass can make her fun to be with. Catra tends to put her loyalty more towards people than causes. That is why when that loyalty is betrayed, she tends to go off the deep end.

After being taken onto Horde Prime's ship, Catra is led off to her rooms. Instead, she doesn't make it. A voice calls to her, sounding similar to one of the Prime clones, and leading her down a wrong corridor. When the ship's walls give way to hedges, Catra knows it's too late to turn back.

Military strategist - Catra's led many targeted attacks against the Rebellion, and has also conducted many types of military missions from sustained engagements to military outposts to item retrievals.

Hand-to-Hand Combat - Raised in the Horde, Catra has been trained all her life on how to fight. She prefers to use her own two hands and feet, as they're weapons on their own, most of the time.

Weapons Training - While not her preferred method, Catra is shown to be able to wield a variety of melee-type weapons and some ranged ones as well.

Large Machinery Training - Catra is shown to be able to operate a flying skiff and a tank, as well as wielding the energy canon weapons on the tanks.

Leadership skills - When not in a more volatile state, Catra is a very skilled leader. A Force Captain in the Horde, Catra has experience with battalions and outposts and moving her people strategically.

Manipulation Tactics - Catra is seen time and time again to use manipulative tactics in combat or on missions. She uses these skills primarily as distraction efforts, having her teams conduct other plans in secret while she or others play the bait. She's also shown to be able to do this a little more on the fly, testing different reactions to find one that suits her needs and then using it to her advantage. Such as when she's captured by the Rebellion briefly, she evaluates her captors, finds a weakness, and drives it into the ground.

Feline Physiology - Catra is an unknown, and seemingly rare, species on Etheria. Her species is very cat-like in appearance, and seems to give her similar capabilities. Catra is shown to be quite strong, being able to hold herself in a fight against the enhanced She-Ra. She is also very agile and nimble, moving quickly and light on her feet. Her senses seem to be enhanced too, particularly when she's shown to be able to scent out a rebel hiding in the vents in the Fright Zone. Additionally, she has great balance, likely enhanced by her tail. She has retractable claws on her hands and feet that have been shown to be strong enough to cut through metal with great force.
